Have Fun With It

I haven’t been messing around with the little camera built into my iPod Touch as much as I would like to so I bought the Camera+ App today for 99 cents and ran with it.

The low resolution of the iPod is no match for the iPhone and it sure isn’t going to replace my 5D mkII but it sure is fun. I recommend checking it out.

Recent Work- Family Portraits

This post also falls under the “Not-As-Recent-Work”. Last summer, just before I was scheduled to head back to Germany we went out to a great spot north of Vancouver called Deep Cove. If you’ve never been I highly recommend it. You can head out for some kayaking or catch a free concert overlooking the water (check local listings…..). Luckily we got some great weather that day and were able to get some good family shots. (Note- this was one of those times that the only possibility was to shoot right at noon. Awesome. But we made the best of it.)

Recent Work- Samir and Christina

This one technically classifies as “almost recent work” but when I was back in Vancouver a couple of trips ago I had the opportunity to shoot some fun portraits with Samir and Christina. In real life one is a lawyer from Zimbabwe and one is an accountant from Germany by way of Paris (one of them does a spot on “Blue Steel”). A friend of mine (Beauty By Carrie) was kind enough to donate her make up services as well.
