I wasn’t sure which episode to post this under. Regarding spot metering the face for portraits / zone system: how would flash enter into the equation? I know you’ve discussed metering for the background exposure of a flash photo, but how do you meter for the flash exposure if you don’t want to you ETTL?

Sorry if you’ve already covered this. I’m only on episode 74 but catching up fast!
