I was listening to episode 167 and Adam was remarking on guys shooting boudoir photos with 70-200mm lenses. My understanding, and I’m no expert, is that it makes to subject look thinner. I’ve been told that anything below about 70mm can add weight to the subject due to the physical properties of the lens.
Keep up the good work! I go thru you guys anytime I’m on Amazon. Thanks for all you do.
I haven’t heard it put that way exactly but the wider focal lengths can be unflattering. This is generally due to the proximity your subject must be to the lens in order to fill the frame. So a tight close up at 50mm will likely not be as flattering as 200mm.
Thanks Darrin. Your support is much appreciated.
